Welcome to the Lebanon Youth Chamber, a dynamic organization dedicated to equipping young individuals with the skills, knowledge, and experience they need to become successful leaders in their communities and beyond. Modeled after the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce, its mission is to foster professional development, community engagement, and leadership among students.
Our Mission
The Lebanon Youth Chamber mission is to provide opportunities for high school students to create value in the Lebanon community and make a difference as an active citizen.
Our Purpose
The purpose is to provide opportunities for active participation in planning and executing projects for the development of the individual and the Lebanon community while understanding and cooperating with businesses and citizens.
This group focuses on:
- Developing Leadership Skills: Through hands-on projects, workshops, and mentorship programs, we help students build the confidence and abilities needed to lead effectively.
- Administering Board Elections: The Lebanon Youth Chamber students are responsible for electing a Director at the end and the beginning of each school year. Each school represented will elect their own Assistant Director including but not limited to, Lebanon Christian Schools, Warren County Career Center, and Lebanon High School. The group will decide upon 5 executive board members. As semesters change, the Lebanon Youth Chamber votes and rotates members as needed.
- Professional Engagement: The Lebanon Youth Chamber offers opportunities for students to interact with local business leaders, participate in professional events, and gain valuable insights into various industries.
- Collaboration on Community Projects: By working together on community service initiatives and local projects, students learn the importance of teamwork and civic responsibility.
- Preparing for Future Success: Our programs are designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application, preparing students for future career success.
